Qassem Soleimani is the Martyr of the Oppressed World
The 3rd of January at the Baghdad International Airport, an American drone killed 8 people by launching missiles and among them Iranian General Qassem Soleimani and Iraqi leader Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were the main targets. General Soleimani was the commander of the Quds Force of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corp since 1998, and he had been a key figure in fighting DAESH and terrorism in the Syrian war, collaborating with the government of Bashar Al-Assad, and also in Iraq, and actively on the front line for the defense of Palestine. He is, therefore, a martyr of the whole oppressed world, not just of Iran. All the people resisting against the US imperialism and Israel zionism deeply felt his loss in their hearts.
This heinous and criminal act demonstrates another time that the US is a bandit state that assassinates the commanders of sovereign states and escalates war with no appeal to its own congress, and thereof the major factor that threatens the stability of Middle East and world peace at large. This outrageous provocation of the American imperialism has to be condemned as a violation of international law and above all an act of war and terrorism.
As World Anti-Imperialist Youth Union (WAYU), we express our solidarity and extend our condolences to the Iranian government and nation for the loss of the General Qassem Soleimani and all the martyrs; and condemn the terrorist act of the government of the United States of America. We urge all the anti-imperialist youth forces around the world to denounce the US government and to stand by the state and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this time of warmongering.
